Previous Month Transaction Count by Project

Sample

Purpose

These reports are used to extract the CICS transaction count needed in the "Cost Analysis - Previous Month" report and stores it in the Cost Analysis data mart.

Variant A is used to calculate the Transaction Count Factor stored in the Monthly Totals table.

Variant B is used to calculate the Transaction Count by Project, stored in the Project Usage table.

Report Parameters

Date Selection: From Start of Previous Month to End of Previous Month, Default Interval (All Day)

System Selection: (In this example) CIP* without CIP0, All transactions, no exclusions

Group by: Transaction Month, Classification

Measures: CPU time, Transaction Count

Calculations

Transaction counts are used to update both monthly totals and per-project usage fields. Calculations are modified to fit cost mapping standards per installation.
